B4Cagongcagong Cave System

Brgy Cagongcagong is host to more than 20 caves within its vicinity, presently under intense technical assessment to determine its suitability for tourism. Princess Maman-aw Cave is a priority site in the Cave Management Plan being formulated

B5-Lamanok Island

Popularly known among the locals and scientists as Bohol’s cradle of civilization where ancient tools and burial sites of early settlers preserved in small caves; large fossils such as giant shells are preserved in the outcrops and properly labelled for the information of visitors

At least 5 small pools situated within coastal areas of the town visited by locals and tourists for recreation, characteristics of sinkholes and depressions through action of water in limestone areas

B44-Punta Cruz Watchtower/ Fort of Saint Vincent Ferrer

Built in 1796 as lookout post and defensive system by Spaniards against pirates, also located in the Maribojoc Uplifted Terrace

B45-Santa Cruz Parish Church/ Holy Cross Parish Church

The church was built in 1768. Declared as National Cultural Treasure

Part of the Bohol Marine Triangle, this small island part of the local marine protected area considered to be the best diving spot in Bohol and offers spectacular view of highly diverse marine life

Well-developed cave system carved from Carmen Formation with magnificent cave formations and underground pools, also used by traditional healers as site for their rituals

The only double barrier reef in the Philippines and 1 out of 3 in the Indo-Pacific Region, covers 272 square km and 699 km of coastline, equivalent to 1% of the total area of the country’s coral reefs
